Chaipatty: Facts and Figures

We started Chaipatty Teafe with a small soft launch followed by a proper start of business on the 27th of December, 2010. We added our second branch on 26th July, 2011 in Koramangala and the third on 26th November, on Varthur Road in Whitefield. Our first day of business was a modest Rs.1800 and ever since, we have posted a sale rise of 25% month-on-month till September, when we broke even for the first place. The two new outlets are also on their way to breaking even by February. Today Chaipatty Teafe is 3 branches strong, has served over 50000 customers, has over 1500 facebook likes and a growing number of followers on twitter. We are amongst the top 5% restaurants on Zomato, getting there on the others and the favorite Tea place-cum-hangout spot for most city dwellers. Thanks to our Rocket Singh style of hospitality, we have been extensively covered by the print media (Both Bangalore and outside Bangalore), news channels (Regional & National) and, something we personally are proud of, are a part of numerous blogs of some of our revered customers.
